Having always before had a box springs beneath our mattresses, I am thrilled with the sturdiness and comfort this platform bed provides. I love the fact that I can easily have another mattress underneath this platform to accommodate an extra guest, or, if you choose not to have a mattress, the space can be used for under-bed storage. My husband put this together in about 30 minutes with very little assistance from me (mainly holding one end steady while he tightened the opposite end. I highly recommend this product!
