Bought this for my 11 year old son. We put it together on a Saturday. Took us a couple of hours to put together. Parts were labeled very well and all contents were packaged well. The contents were packed in four separate boxes. My biggest complaint, which is a problem with all furniture products, is that they all use allen screws. While they do supply a simple allen wrench to use, it is not a good tool in the tight corners. I just despise the use of allen screws. Other than that, I believe it is a very solid bed. I coupled it with an 8 inch memory foam mattress and he loves it. Very solid wood. Have not purchased a mattress for the trundle yet. The trundle is a snug fit, so it did take us a couple of times to get it underneath the bed correctly. Also, one of the drawers wouldnt go all the way back in its slot. My son figured out that a couple of the screws used on the drawer rail were not tight. Unfortunately, we didnt figure this out until everything was together. Luckily, he was able to reach and tightened those screws while laying down on the floor, and the drawer went in correctly. All in all, I would highly recommend this bed to anyone.
