We bought this bed to upgrade our 5 year old from her toddler bed to a big girl bed. I got this one due to its shortened height, as we have slanted ceilings in our bedrooms, and it fits perfectly in the space. We used the space under the loft to create a play and reading book. Its a great space saving design, and she keeps calling it her princess tower bed!
