Following instructions for assembly exactly and it still took nearly 4 hours to assemble. Some suggestions to make it easier would be to put the foot holder brackets on then screw the feet onto them afterwards and the slats dont hold until the resting brackets are put in so when it tells you to lift open the bed again afterwards, most of the slats fall out so the resting bars and baseboards should be assembled before placing the slats. Its AWESOME once its assembled but it some assembly steps make it harder than it needs to be.
