This is a nice good looking bed. Assembly was not hard at all. I bought it for my 18 year old son and also to use as a guest bed as needed. One thing I didnt take into account, though, was the upholstery being a magnet for my cat to scratch on, so Im a little obsessive about keeping my cat out of the room. The bed isnt going to withstand super heavy use, but for the money it is a good value. One downside, is the top mattress hangs over box spring a bit. Nothing too noticeable unless youre looking closely. I think its meant to have a shorter box spring (I use the standard size). Overall, I would recommend this bed frame because it has a nice clean look.
