Decide if you want a flush footboard or raised from mattress
This works great in our winter home. Gives more room in the guest rooms due to not being bulky. If I would change one thing, it would be to make the footboard about 3 inches taller. Maybe the design intended to leave it low so you can just throw a comforter over top and not have to tuck in. Depends on what youre looking for
