It is durable and looks great. However, it was very to put together. By that I mean the screws go about halfway in and then they get extremely hard to turn. It was like that with all of the screws and there are like 30. It took me 3 hours to assemble. Im a single mom and I have arthritis and I was assembling by myself. Other than that my 18 months old loves it. He hated feeling trapped in his crib and he loves being able to get in and out of his bed his self. Its also on the ground which means if he rolls out of bad there will be no harm.
