If you have built such furniture before, this wont be too hard, but the instructions are not very explicit, and the parts are not labeled (other than the drawer sides labeled left and right.) Only the drawer sides are real wood; the rest is particle board or MDF. All the hardware was mingled together in one large plastic bag, so the first thing I did was separate out the various screws and put them in old butter tubs. I labeled the two main sides myself, once I figured out which was which. As another reviewer suggested, I glued the parts as well as screwing them together, since the particle board can easily be stripped out. While there were a few extra screws and anils, I would have liked to have had a couple extra of the zinc cams as well, since I overtightened one and broke it. Including unpacking and sorting, it took me three hours to fully assemble the chest. I like the fact that it has metal drawer slides and everything fits together the way it should (once you figure out how they go).
