    Know What Youre Buying

Im always surprised when I read reviews for products like this. Yes, its not a high quality piece of furniture. Yes, its not easy to put together. Yes, it came short some parts. Yes, it wont last for a long time. But, what would you expect based on the price? Its like going to the grocery and buying round steak, and then complaining that it wasnt Filet Mignon. Anyway, be prepared for about 3 to 4 hours of assembly, which, to me, was self explanatory. I never even looked at the instructions except to find the part number for the 2 parts (stabilizers) I was missing. If you want the piece to last longer, I recommend that you glue the cabinet parts (sides, back, top, and stabilizers) together as you assemble. The cams make great clamps. Use a wood glue, not epoxy, and have the drawers ready to go before you do the final assembly. Then, glue it all together and put the drawers in to make sure everything is square and the drawers work smoothly. Wait 24 hours for the glue to dry before you put anything in. The dresser looks nice, and, if glued, its sturdy. Its what I expected and it does the job I needed done.
