I bought this because I wanted to put my four aero gardens in my bedroom and need a narrow table. This was perfect. It's a beautiful simple design. The black is really black. The bottom shelf gives me a place to store supplies and even future aero gardens. I've had it for a while and am very satisfied with my ourchase
