I did not expect the wood to be so beautiful. And its solid wood. Its really too nice for my intended purpose (a cat bed). Oh well.
Also, very easy to assemble. They even give you tools. Of course it is unfinished. I wasnt going to do anything to do it but when I got a look at it I decided to at least apply water/based poly for protection.
