Once I assembled this chair and sat in it, I liked it although my feelings about it have been colored by the frustrating assembly. The first part of the assembly was very easy. The problem was when I assembled the side arms to the seat and back.
The instructions clearly show that the arms should be secured to the seat first and then to the back.
But that was very difficult to do, as the fabric covers a large part of the screw holes (so I had to cut it all away) and then it was impossible for one person to screw the arms to the back. After an hour of trying, I finally took the arms off the seat and then screwed the arms to the back and finally to the seat the reverse order of the instructions.
The whole time I was being so frustrated I reminded myself that this was a cheap chair and I got what Id paid for. Id recommend to anyone else who tries to assemble this chair to attach the arms to the back first and then to the seat. Youll save a lot of time and irritation.
4 stars for the chair;1 star for assembly
