We purchased the predecessor model of this chair which last 5.5 yrs. The structure held up fine in a home office use, but the vinyl leather/like upholstery began to peel off, which is replaceable or can be re/covered with some disassembly if you wanted to.
This newer design is provides increased comfort with more padding and better contouring.
Instructions and all tools are included, the assembly instruction sheet uses pictographs, no typed written instructions are used. Assembly is 85% simple, with the exception attaching the armrests, aligning the holes of the armrests with the holes in the seat and backrest can be tricky. Fabric can partially cover the screw sockets so threading screws requires patience.
Tip 1/ do not tighten down all screws on the armrests until all have partially been threaded in each hole. It makes it easier move the armrests to align the last screws installed.
Tip 2/ Neither the seat or the wheel base are attached to the main adjustment column it is seated into the holes of the seat and base provided by friction and weight. So when picking up the chair they can separate and drop. So keep it on the floor when moving it around in the room.
