I was willing to give this chair a chance, since its an brand and is not made in China. However, the quality of the chair is simply lacking. It feels nice and plush on day 1, but on day 3 you will start to notice:
The plush material starts to flatten quickly. I am 160lb and after 3 days of use, its obvious which part of the chair base I have been sitting in, just by adjusting myself in the chair and noticing how flat the previous area is.
I tend to sit in the front section of the chair and lean back against the backrest. It sits at 90 degrees to the base forming an L so if you dont have perfect posture, it will start to hurt your back after a while.
The way the base of the chair sits on the piston feels wobbly as if its balancing. Shifting my weight in any direction feels like I may topple the top of the chair right off the pole. I attribute this to the pole not sitting deeper in the base, which I believe was a cheap tradeoff to save some $$.
Overall the $100 quality is very noticeable so dont think you are getting a bargain. You are getting exactly what you are paying for, which is a cheap chair with a low back.
Made in Vietnam, but may as well be from China
