This sits 14 from floor to bottom of seat with the up/down adjustment all the way down...higher than my last chair of 5yrs....so took a bit to get used to it at the table I use.
The only thing I dislike is it has this loud squeek! at the top right of the back when I lean back...something in the frame work...not worth returning for that I reckon..?
It was easy to assemble.
The upholstery/padding is OK.
Overall...not bad for the $$ spent.
