Really high quality, great price, easy to assemble (just read the note on legs)
Given the price, I was expecting a very basic adjustable bed, and was very pleasantly surprised at both the quality and functions of the bed base. First of all, everything about it it is very solid and well/made. The legs are strong, the overall frame is made of thick metal with solid welds, and the edge pieces are covered in high/quality fabric. So far, the motors have been excellent, even with a larger person using it, moving the bed quickly and smoothly/ and surprisingly quietly.
Yeh automatic settings / for watching TV, zero G, etc. / are all great, and the cordless remote reacts quickly and is very easy to use. I really like that the buttons on the remote light up when you press a button, and it even has a flashlight button with a bright LED on the end of the remote, which is especially good for older people to help find dropped pills, etc at night.
Except for one step of the process, assembly was very easy. If it werent for poor instructions about how to select the desired height of the legs (there are three options), you could assemble the bed in less than half an hour. Instead of sending a dozen individual legs, you adjust leg height by choosing one, two, or three pieces for each leg/if you want a shorter bed, you dont use all of the pieces. That would be fine if they provided a diagram or instructions on which pieces to select / or if all legs were the same but they are not. Two of the legs do not have female adapters so they must be screwed on LAST. Save yourself 15/minutes and identify these pieces BEFORE figuring out the legs.
Other than that, this bed is excellent and my elderly mother loves it. She uses the TV setting every day, and often has her legs raised a bit to help with circulation. Its very easy to use and an excellent price.
