Took about 2.5/3 hours to assemble. To get all the pieces together and level, I helped my husband for a small part of the assembly. The kids love it. The kids are 5 and 7 years old. My daughter who is on the top bunk says she is excited she can read with a flashlight without disturbing her sibling with the light.
