Product is very solid when assembled properly. Per my personal recommendations dont use a drill to assemble, hex key allen hand driver is what I used instead of the hex key allen wrench which was provided. Using a drill will strip out the screw holes quickly if one is not cautious, dont be ly. This appears to be pine wood which is a very soft wood. For the cost it is well worth it and has gained my trust with my kids.
