Great childrens bed, or guest bed for smaller/average-sized adults.
There are a couple of odd things, but nothing that affects usage as much as aesthetics:
1. We have a twin mattress on it; the mattress does not totally cover the platform (so that you see the wood under it).
2. There is a little lip around the edge; be carefully not to hit it when getting out of the bed.
3. I wouldnt use it for a toddler bed, as if you have baseboard molding/trim, you will not be able to push the bed/mattress flush against the wall (there will be a gap between the wall and mattress).
