I picked this frame for the price and because its minimalist, while still leaving room for storage. I didnt want a lot of legs in the way, and needed for the type of mattress I have. For all those points I got exactly what I wanted, but I dont like this product. What I thought was a nice height ended up feeling like my bed was on awkward stork legs (hence the added bed skirt and overly drooped comforter), and my tiny dogs cant get up and down without me carrying them. For reference, hes about the same size and weight as a cat. The construction is really cheap too. In the picture you can see that holes dont line up right, it causes the frame to bow out slightly and the to sit loosely. On one of the joints the hole was so far off I couldnt even screw it. So structurally, its a sketchy product. Part of the frame is a center bar that has two floppy (bar) arms coming off of it, they are a nightmare to work with and completely unnecessary. I banged my foot twice with them, once so hard I was bruised for a week, and the other I jabbed into my toenail so hard, I had to take a break so I could stop the bleeding. Ive moved the bed twice since then (to a different room and back), and each time those floppy bars bang into something, causing damage to my apartment, and the loose slip out and clatter all over the hard floors (I pray for my downstairs neighbor). Thats not even the only issues. Whatever they made this frame out of is really lightweight, which seems like a good thing, but without carpet to hold it in place, my bed slides all over the floor. Imagine trying to be intimate (or again with my poor neighbor). And even though I wanted for my frame, they are spaced so far apart that my sheets hang awkwardly from underneath (I have a wool/cotton mattress that doesnt use a box spring). I gave this product 4 stars because it is what it says it is, but omg, I dont think Ive ever borderline/hated an inanimate object so much. I cant imagine how something like this gets returned, but Im pretty sure Ive been procrastinating about it too long anyway.
Dont get it if you arent prepared to return it
