The delivery team called me when they were 15 minutes away, so I had time to secure my cats in another room. The team brought the box into my livingroom as I requested when ordering. I spent about 30 minutes or so from start to finish with assembly because I was doing it alone.
Once the box is opened and the plastic is carefully removed, I turned the seating part of the couch on its side onto the plastic so it wouldnt get damaged. I then attached the legs (which were in a zippered pouch under the couch), turned the couch right/side up and attached the back. For me, that was the hardest part because it was difficult to get both sides lined up properly, but I got it done.
As for the couch, itself, I love it! I bought the Pebble color which is slightly darker than the slipcovers on my chairs and is exactly what I was hoping for. It is so comfortable. I did not want a couch that I would sink into, so the slight firmness of the cushions is perfect for me. The only parts of the couch that requires assembly are the legs and the back.
I just ordered clear plastic sheets from to protect my couch from my cats (bless their little hearts!) from scratching the fabric. In the meantime, I dont think Ill leave them alone with the couch!
