The legs are 100% solid strong support!! They are so easy to assemble that they were actually delivered while I was cooking dinner and ready to sit on when dinner was ready!!! They are bigger than I expected and you can sit in so many positions on them. I'm about 5'4 and 130 pounds and they support me great!! These chairs are so pretty I could cry so happy!!! My cats LOVE them as well!!!
