Took my husband and I one and a half hours to assemble. Not difficult, just pay attention. Item is super sturdy without mounting to wall, and exceeds our expectations! Would def recommend!! And we did our research. Smooth frame, all parts fit and in package, comfy ladder accesses from both sides, queen fits underneath with a little room on each side. Two thumbs up!!!! Amazing, really love it
