I had these together in 15 minutes. About 1/2 the dunnage is cardboard, the other half is plastic bags and foam sheets. No damage to any of the flat black, painted surfaces.
All of the hardware (5 of the 4 screws you need, plus a hex wrench) is blister packed and tied to the box so you dont accidentally throw it away.
Swivel function is infinite and smooth. The gas strut is easy to adjust and has a nice squish to it. The stool is pretty comfy, the foot rest is nicely welded, and the disc base has enough give in the perimeter rubber ant-slip ring to deal with imperfect tile floors without rocking.
If you like the style, this is a good value and easy to assemble.
Two per box, four screws per stool, seems solid.
