We bought this bed for my sons Montessori style bedroom. It is very study. It fits beautifully in the room and I love the finish of the wood. I dpnt have to worry about splinters or paint chipping. My so naps amazingly in the bed and loves it. I used an 8 inch mattress with it.
My only problems- the directions suck. Its basically just pictures which you have to look at closely to male sire youre attaching the pieces the right way. Made assembly take way longer. Also, I was missing one screw. And I didnt realize until I needed it to screw the last piece. Luckily we had an extra one we used. Over all, worth the money and very pleased.
