Took under an hour to assemble, very straightforward. After about a week or so the wife saw the ladder was wiggling with each step so she tightened it. Using her intuition she went round all the hardware again and they all needed another 2-4 rotations. Will keep checking every now and then, but other than that? Pretty damn good for the cost. Easy to assemble! So luxurious!
