I do like the look but when I took everything out of the box all of the wood pieces were splintering off. I sanded everything before I assembled it. One of the pieces even had extra holes that werent supposed to be there and it made it very difficult to complete the last step of assembling the bed. Its also incredibly low to the ground. If you have back and hip problems I do not recommend this without putting a box spring under your mattress for extra height
