Better than expected. Bought this for my 15 year old daughter. Her room is tiny so this was a great purchase to give her desk space for homework/study. Its dark underneath of course so purchase some cute decorative white Christmas lights and hooked a small fan to the side so its bright and comfortable. Great sturdy bed. Handles the weight oh her and me on it when I climb up to sit next to her for a while. Recommended
