absolutely quality wood, and beautiful. Only thing I would say bad, isthey taped the trundle wheels in the box, and my neighbor found them in the trash. so, inspect the box before you throw it out!!!Otherwise, this is a beautiful investment!! Really happy with this bed!!! that perfect for us
