These are great for the price. Just be smart when you use them.
NEVER USE THIS STYLE OF WADER WHILE ON A BOAT. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SWIM BACK UP!
Most people dont consider this when they buy waders. These are not like the neoprene waders that fit tightly to your body. If you are not careful these can become a death trap. Thats to no fault of this product. Its the style. If you are going to use these in a fast moving river (not smart) make absolutely sure you dont go anywhere near deep enough to submerge these fully underwater and that you have solid footing. They act like a parachute underwater.
But if you are planning on standing in streams, creaks, or any shallow part of a body of water while you fish these will work great. I measured my dimensions and the size I got fit pretty well. Im kinda fat so the belly is a little tight but thats my fault not theirs. All of the seams are well sealed.
And if you do get water in them they came with a strap to hang them up. I suggest hanging them by putting the straps between the toe and heel of the boots. Gives a better angle for water to drain. And if you have a small fan that can point straight up then use that to blow air inside. Helps evaporate the water and keeps them from stinking to high heaven.
So far Ive taken them out 4 times. They have taken a beating and have no holes or tears in the outer fabric, which surprised me, I have two left feet. I tripped over a nail riddled piece of fencing that was laying at the bottom of a river and they took it like a champ. Id say these are a solid choice.
Id take some pictures but my phone might as well be a potato when it comes to the camera
One tip Id suggest is that because these are designed to fit lots of different people, the boots might not fit everyone the same. If you got these and they are a little to loose on your feet, buy yourself a set of thick foam insoles.
I found when trudging through muck and silt my feet kept trying to slip out of the boots. And as anyone whos stepped into knee deep mud will know, its pretty hard to get your shoes and foot out at the same time. The insoles helped a lot.
Good luck fishing. Enjoy the water. And stay safe out there
