    Great Beginner Mountain Bike

It has a front suspension but not a rear, so it is technically a hardtail bike. The front suspension absorbs bumps and dips well. High/end mountain bikes cost upwards of 600/700 so this is a great value for a beginning mountain bike, or if you desire the flexibility of being able to ride on both the street and dirt trails. You Tube has some great beginner tutorials for mountain biking, which I have found useful because there is a huge difference between riding a road bike on pavement and riding a mountain bike up and down hills. The bike came partially assembled but I took it to a local bike store for a complete assembly and tune/up because I didnt want to risk a problem on the trail. Overall, this is a well/constructed mountain bike built to last, and a great entry into the sport.
