Quality is okay / But do not attempt without a good drill

This bunk bed is pretty sturdy and looks good, but it did take around 3 hours to assemble. The assembly here is a little bit more difficult than an IKEA bunk bed. And I will tell you this: Do not attempt this build with the tiny wrench that comes in the box. I would strongly recommend you have a good cordless drill with a screwdriver bit and an Allen hex bit. My other recommendation is to be gentle with hex bolts because the quality of those arent great and they will strip if you apply too much pressure. The wood is also pretty lightweight. My only other complaint is that my box was missing an important A bolt, which I need to request via their website. I appreciate when manufacturers give you a couple of extra bolts so that this never happens. Overall, Im happy with this bed and my kids are happy, but the build was a little bit more challenging than I was expecting. I have seen some other comments here about off gassing or a smell with this bed. I havent experienced anything like that. It just smells like newly painted wood. Note that the color here is off white, with a very slight yellow undertone. Kind of a vintage white. It doesnt quite match our white trim, but it looks fine. so you get what you pay for.
