Not the easiest bed to assemble but I imagine none of them are easy. Takes 2 people for sure. Very well made and sturdy once put together. The only qualm I had was where the headboard part meets the bed the washers were sticking out on the side for all to see.I said to my friend who helped me put it together that this has to be wrong because why would they have the washers and the screws sticking out for everyone to see when if you put the opposite way the washers were hidden so we changed it around and then I looked closer at the picture that was online and it is true the washers are supposed to be facing out which I dont know what they thought of it was a decorative thing or it just was poor craftsmanship but I was wrong in the washers are supposed to be for all to see that was my only thing I thought was weird but other than that Im very happy with my purchase its a nice frame and it looks wonderful. And the price is right
