Nice size. Our 9 year old loves it! We also bought a futon to go underneath; which is great for sleepovers. She had her under it for a while too.
It went together nicely and shipped without a ton of packaging. The only adjustment we made was cutting some strips of pool noodle to pad the steps a bit.
