The assembly time was ridiculous. My husband, who is usually really good at assembling furniyure, had a devil of a time. Also, he said none of the screws fit and he ended up going to Home Depot to buy some that fit. However, once it came together, it looks beautiful and I love it. It is certainly sturdy enough for our needs and very roomy. (I put on some gold handles I purchased at Home Depot.)
