Its cheap and serving a function. The instructions werent very great and I put it together wrong at first, and again the second time. I have a 2 year old and a 4 month old and I definitely have lack of sleep focus issues, LOL. This item is for a toddler, they should understand that!
One of the screws came broken so one of the guards is only held in by 2/3 screws.
Its pretty cheaply made but then again Im 61 and 215lbs and Ive crawled in this bed with my 2 year old upon command and we didnt break the bed. I wouldnt suggest it and I was scared climbing in but ecstatic when everything was fine.
Putting it together was slightly tough even aside from the instructions because the screws themselves can be difficult to screw in, some go in easier than others. I ended up with a blister on my finger because I hated the tool that came with the bed and kept trying to use my fingers. There are threaded nuts that accept the screws differently although they are all the same size. A bit of force with the tool does seem to help, the fingers are left with blisters, boo.
Id say its 5/5 for what you are after / A cheap sturdy toddler bed that takes the mattress you had in their crib. Honestly, our daughter will likely outgrow it quickly so why spend a ton of ?
The 1 star lost was for poorly pictured instructions and the broken screw.
Id buy it again
