I was able to put it together on my own. I will be honest, I have to return it because my balcony is not quite big enough for it. So glad they put the instructions for the lights, they work great! It is pretty, open and close easy, material seems to be heavy duty. I used it just one evening before deciding to return it, have to admit I did not want to. The umbrella was on sale and what a great deal!!! I need to add sandbags for the stand, it did want to blow with the wind. I was going to store the umbrella and find somewhere I could use it, but who was I kidding? I live in a condo?
