I bought this to go in my private counseling practice office to use as a plant stand. It was very easy to assemble with no extra tools needed. It did not take very long either. I didnt use the pads for the bottom since this is being used in a carpeted room. There were some minor imperfections on the wood itself which do not affect the functionality of the table. What really concerned me is that I had the top of the table on top of a very smooth cardboard box. From turning it to bolt the top into place the top of the table is scratched from being turned around on the box. I was shocked. That is why I had to drop a star. I will be using table covers, but if I put the planter on it without the cover it would be scratched up really badly. Also, there was a random extra screw in the box, and Im not sure what it belongs to. I would purchase the item again if needed, but I want you to be very ginger lest you scuff or scratch the wood.
