Wd armed both beds and were ready to stack the bunk beds. When we put the metal rods in to support the top bunk there was a gap due to the hole not being drilled deep enough. Once stacked the bed should be flush but there was a two finger gap. My husband hammered the metal rods so theyd sink enough to have the bed be flush one on top of the other. I dont think itll last more than a few years!
