I was excited to put this together for my girls and the first night we had it. I sat on the end and the supporting bottom boards broke, I am only 135 ibs so that should have never happened. The next day my nieces were here and they laid on it and two more of the supporting slats broke. The whole construction is solid wood but would recommend supporting the slats they give you. Good but not what I expected
