We bought two of these for beside the bed so we can put on our shoes easily. They are perfect for this, but read the description as I just skimmed over. The lid DOES NOT . The legs come stored inside with access via a velcro flap on the bottom.
I ordered this and the orange velvet tufted ottoman for our guest bedroom. The colors are deep and bright, the tufting is uniform and looks good, and the gold metal base is the perfect compliment. These look much better in person. Very pleased with both purchases!
I call them expensive dirty clothes hampers. Lolol, they are compared to the plastic bins I use to use. When I brought this house I wanted to have a clean modern yet elegant look for my bedroom. I love these ottomans, theyre beautiful and structurally sound. I would purchase again!

Great Ottoman
I have arthritis in my knees and cannot sit for long periods without pain. I use the ottoman as a leg rest and the pain has subsided tremendously.
