Bought this for my 80 year old grandmother for her birthday. She loves it. The head rest is a little low and a bit discomforting and it's a bit small. But for her it's good. Anyone with height and a little wider, wouldn't like this in my opinion. But for my grandma it is good. She likes it.
There are a lot of nice things to be said about this recliner, here's a few.
I have to sleep in a recliner, this is possibly the most comfortable chair I have ever sat in. The microfiber is sweet on the skin and whatever the filling is, it's perfect.
I've got mobility issues and the lift makes it so much easier to get up and out of the chair. Nice smooth motion on the recliner, I'm not a tiny person and it doesn't strain a bit under me.
The only hurdle I encountered is that this chair has to sit a ways from the wall, I didn't measure but maybe 18 to 2 feet. I read in a few reviews that the arm rests are too low, at first it looks like that but when you sit, they are just right.
It's not often with a large purchase online that the product is just exactly as described, for once I have no complaints.
Excellent lift chair: sits 220lbs with plenty of cushion that eliminates pressure off lumbar and butt.
Quite motor and remote push button is very slow to lift. [You wont be able to hear chair lift if person attempts to get out!]
Suggest you Velcro remote to prevent falling down
short cord; need to make sure it has plenty of slack, otherwise the chair will come down on cord and disconnect leaving the individual in chair stuck.
Extension cord more than likely needed.
- Happened to my client. I had someone stand in front of her as I pushed chair up enough to reconnect power cord, without dumping her out!
lays back almost to full laying position
When not in a full back position, person feet/ leg rest will not be fully elevated, keeping knees bent and feet down, slightly up
tall individuals feet will touch floor wherever in stand up position. Anyone shorter than 55/56 might have issues bc feet will not touch floor without scooting closer to the edge.
wide seat, heavy chair doesnt move when sat in or adjusting
true to color, cloth not easy to scoot on
barely any arm rests, almost level with seat. Pro or con for certain individuals.
In pictures they look higher than they actually are.
because the seat is so long from back to front, I have issues pulling my 56 client into chair. She cannot adjust Or move. Pulling her back by the seat of her pants or pad in chair helps.
I have to place a soft pillow behind lower back to fill in the gap.
Set up super easy; Two pieces you literally align up and Snap together. (Easy with 2 ppl to spot and help guide) Literally drug the box in myself (52 125lb female)
Attach power cord to snap wire underneath chair at two parts.
Safety extension feet will be attached to the back so it doesnt tip backwards. Hardware provided
I honestly wasn't sure I was going to like it once it was assembled. But after having and using it a few days, I am very happy with my purchase. It burnt out in a year. I am disappointed.
Husband just had knee replacement. This chair is very comfortable. Some nights he would choose the chair over the bed when his knee was aching and spend most waking hours in it too.
This is a great chair! It is comfortable and easy to use, especially easy to assemble. The chair is beautiful, and I love the camel color. A little glitch in shipping, but it was quickly resolved. Overall great experience in shopping and pleased with product.
