Very helpful. We are using this bed for a few months now. The look is great. It does not feel strong if your kid wants to jump on it. We bought some plywood and attached it at top of the bed after that weight capacity increased and it feels very strong. We bought the twin size.
Very compact. I love the look of this bed. It looks so nice and goes well with my decor. But the sturdiness is very questionable. The legs are buckling and completely tilted. I had to add lots of screws and plates to keep it more upright and sturdy. Every time my husband gets into bed the bed moves a good 4/6 inches.
I would not recommend this bed.The packaging was very strange too. There was no protection for the headboard, but the legs were wrapped in styrofoam. So naturally it arrive with dents and dings in the headboard, but the legs, the parts you cant see are perfectly intact. Makes sense right?! Luckily I can cover most of the dents and dings with pillows. Keep looking, better options out there for the same price.
Very nice product! I would really rate this 4.5 stars, if I could.
The bad is well made, with a good finish. Its not the quality that one would get at Ethan Allen, but the price isnt there, either. It seems quite sturdy, and has good reinforcement down the center of the bed. Most of the pieces are made from real (rather than engineered) wood.
I really liked the out/of/box experience, and the ease of assembly. The main packing was double/boxed for security. Everything was well packed, and even the Styrofoam blocks had protective plastic sheeting around them. There we no marks or scuffs from shipment anywhere on the bed. All of the needed hardware was there, and they even provided extra bolts, nuts, and washers of *every* size used in the bed!
During assembly, all large items interconnected with dowel pins, to make attaching hardware easier. The wood slats that hold the mattress quickly attach with Velcro, using dowel pins as a guide. They even give you a little ratchet tool to turn the hex bolts when assembling. (I used a power driver, but there were about four places where the hex driver couldnt fit.) My wife and I put it together in less than an hour. I would definitely buy another bed from these folks.
Well made. It was just what I wanted. Well, for the money this thing is great. Super duper easy to assemble, no tools necessary, they provide you with a ratchet that works for any screws. It is a little low so we ended up with a box spring anyway. That made the bed a little too high, but we preferred that to too low. Overall very good. However there is some bad
Everything was going great with assembly until I realized there was one single board missing which I needed. I called and they said that they didnt keep parts and I would have to call the manufacturer (which does make sense). I called and they said that because I ordered through , they couldnt send me the missing piece and that I would have to go through to return it. Well rather than pulling everything apart and reboxing the over 90lb box, I grabbed a board I had in my garage and drilled it to make it work. Its a support board and not visible once the mattresses are on it.
I made it work and the frame is sturdy but cmon , just send the one lousy board! Imagine if I would have reboxed it, returned it, got a new package that also was missing a piece. Bad policy in my opinion.
Will be ordering more. I wouldnt call it a well/made bed or a sturdy onebut the price and color were right. There are a lot of places where the wood has split and it was repaired with bondo rather than replaced.
Very happy. Ordered this bed to go with a new Ghostbed that I ordered for my son. Just a quick note for anyone that plans to buy this, regardless of what mattress you purchase, it will be really tall if you want to use a boxspring with it. This, in my opinion, is really meant to be used without a boxspring.
The assembly was simple. The slats were really well thought out. They were attached to each other with straps so you didnt have to handle them individually. While putting this together, just make sure your holes are pointing in the right direction, we had to flip our headboard around.
Overall the build quality is great. Seems solid and doesnt appear to be cheap, despite the price. The wood is a little soft but as long as you dont overtighten, you should be fine!
Well built!! As a 70 year old woman I found the full bed easy to assemble by myself, the directions clear, and the frame and headboard sturdy. The woodwork was actually nicer than the picture. I just wish that UPS hadnt lost my first order, my guest had to sleep on just the mattress on the floor!

Great overall but bad policy by manufacturer could have made this a nightmare.
