The good: package arrived on time, no pieces missing with few blemishes, all fasteners were in a single heat/sealed package, very verbose and well expressed assembly instructions.
The bad: no spare fasteners, if you loose just one screw, bolt or dowel, it is a scourge thru your garage or a trip to a hardware store.
The ugly: while the instruction were well documented and expressed, I disagree with the order of assembly presented, I swear whomever wrote these instructions did not put this together themselves to get a reality check on arrangement of the sub/assemblies. Furniture assembly instructions to do fall under OSAH nor US Customs jurisdiction so I doubt if there was any third party review.
Overall, a good product for the money. Would purchase again as needs fit. You should buy.
This loft bed is so cute! Its well made but I will say its a bit wobbly (when an adult is on it). My kid loves to use the lower area desk to hang out. This works.
Love this bed. Super durable and good for my kiddo. It was a little tricky to put together but thats just my opinion. You need two to three people go put this bed together. Perfect and Sturdy.
My husband and I bought this bed for our kids. Very easy to install and pretty sturdy per my husband. I really like the Saftey feature to latch the bed to the wall. Only thing is I wish it was able to be removed to have two separate twin beds. Other than that its great for what we needed. Awesome!
I was very skeptical to buy this bed, I had seen some of the reviews, and the negative ones made me very scared to spend money on it. But I decided to give it a try because of the affordable price. It arrived on time, and it wasnt too heavy to carry inside.
About assembling:
I agree with the reviews, it wasnt the easiest thing to do, when assembling it make sure to pay attention to the details on the illustrations on the manual. Theres not a lot of writing to explain the steps so look closely to the pictures!
P.S: When doing the little climbing stair thing, if it comes out uneven its because you have done it wrong, not because they did a poor job at building it! Do it again, and make sure the side pieces are facing the right way!
If you want it solid rock, you should attach the bed to the wall, but even if not so, its still gonna be firm enough!
Overall, the bed is lovely! Perfect for my needs.
This is nice looking. It was not easy to put together the wholes were not lined up very well. After we man handled it together it looks good. It is sturdy for my small step daughter but definitely not good for any child over 10/11. HAPPY!!
Hello everyone, these beds are a real space saver. They are easy to set up, takin about 3/6 hours from start to finish. They take this long because of the amount of pieces and my organizational skills. The only gripe I have about the beds are the ladders that lead up to the mattress. They are rounded and hurt your feet as you climb. But I put some pipe insulation to lessen the pain as my kids climbed up. The kids love the setup and the space they have underneath. A good buy!
