This was really good for my girls there is lots of places they can put there things it is not the sturdiest but still dose the job the set up was fairly easy... The stares are kinda skinny for a whole food to go on but it really nice. good product!Definitely just as described
This bed has been one of my best purchases. I bought it for my 3 and 6 year old. Its sturdy and so cute. I sleep in it some nights as well with my daughter. They have all their toys and books stored in the staircase bookshelf. Love, love, love! Great product by all standards
Delivery took longer than stated. I purchased it and they didnt even ship it for about two weeks afterwards. This is for an about an hour from where I lived and so they send a tracking number with an arrival date so I made plans to have other things shipped that same day and come that day found out that they hadnt even sent it out yet. When I contacted them they said that Id still get it by the delivery date originally stated. I did not, it was much later. As for the bed itself, it should come with an honorary degree from MIT. All the bolts and dowels and locknuts all come in one single bag so anticipate spending about 10 minutes organizing those first. None of the pieces are numbered so while the booklet has numbers on them the items and selves do not have numbers and theres a lot of them so its really difficult to have them spread out in one room. The directions only have pictures with no words whatsoever. It took my handyman and I six hours to put it together. Some of the instructions dont make sense like they have you screw the Wood slats to the frame but then later when you put the top bunk on you cannot attach it because those slats are in the way so then we had to take the time to unscrew it and then redo it again. So I feel like this is instructions made by somebody whos never actually put together the bed. The bed is cute there were a few dents that I will paint. The boxes are pretty heavy, especially the one with all the wooden slats in it.
I found a place near me with a bunk bed like this, but it was priced at around $1200 for everything.
So, while I did save money with this purchase, heres some of the issues Ive had:
Three boxes were delivered (very quickly) but one box was open and several parts were damaged, including some of the parts that would be clearly visible.
Near the end of building, found one of the support legs was missing for the bottom (full size) bed.
The planks that support the mattresses are really cheap and pretty flimsy, and prone to leaving splinters, which is not great for kids. Other beds Ive looked at used better wood and wider cuts so that the planks supported better.
For the full bed, the support planks are actually used as part of the support for the rather flimsy full-size bed frame. The bed frame rail connections really need metal supports, like either angle brackets or what some other makers do is have full metal connections for the wood parts to better strengthen the lateral movements. As it is, one of the wood pieces on the full size bed actually broke before I was done and I have glue it and screw in reinforcement.
Because the support planks for the mattress are used as part of the support for the whole thing, it makes it very, very tedious and difficult for the day you need to move the bed to another house. You have to remove many, many screws. This could have been alleviated by adding wood supports to the wood frame, making the platform for the support planks better. There are a couple of place, like on the stairs, where the method of connection seems weird and less supportive.
The instructions were initially OK, but upon getting to the page with the stair build, it was so horrible that the stairs took as long to figure out and put together as all the other stuff!! Also, there was no indications of some cutouts that were supposed to align, but you would not see that until all done. I was all done and found one panel on the stairs was in the wrong place so I was forced to cut out a piece and re-paint.
The bottom slide out bed is a joke: its just two pieces of wood that again uses the mattress support planks but theres no support at the head or the feet!!!! Hard to write so it makes sense, but just imagine some flimsy wood planks that a weaker type of wood as all that holds the front-facing wood and the smaller wood piece on the rear side together. So weak! I am likely not going to use it. The pic looks great, but try to find a pic that shows the bottom bed all the way out and notice there is NO support to hold the two sides together adequately.
I had to spend too much time trying to repair the shipping damage.
I dont think this unit could handle someone jumping on the bed. I think the planks will break. They are weak.
I dont if I will be able to move the full size bed in the future due to having to glue and brace the end that broke.
Given the damage, the missing part, and the fact that Ill likely never be able to use that bottom part, in addition to the many, many hours it took to complete (with trying to fix parts and paint as well as figuring out the directions), I feel like I overpaid. If my time is worth money, and considering the repairs stuff I paid for, I would have been better off spending that $1200 to get something of better quality that would be built for me.
The twin bed on the top is more sturdy as it has additional rails and the cheap wood planks are shorter.
I got a grey bed bunk for my kids and it is absolutely perfect, it was easy to assemble by 2 grown men with the right tools and looks good in the room. The materials are sturdy and there were no missing parts. On the delivery one wooden piece got cracked so the seller offered the option to send a new part or make a refund and I chose the latter and was made quickly. The service provided by WeYoung was exceptional, I never had such good service by an external seller before. Just one thing, the Trundle bed is not very clearly shown in the pictures but it is clearly expressed in the description that it is a twin size not full so just always read the descriptions. nice buy
As pictured and described. Company customer service is excellent. Product is sturdy and fairly easy to put together.. I recommend this company. Came earlier than the delivery estimate. Perfect for my needs
Great bunk bed!!
So glad I opted for this design with a full size in the middle. My son is getting used to sleeping by himself, so the middle bunk allows for room for my husband and I to sleep with him if needed.
It definitely takes a hot minute to assemble. Took 2 people about 1 hour to assemble.
The footprint is huge. So make sure you measure. nice purchase!
The bed looks like the photo however we had a missing piece here and an extra there. Im pretty handy but actually paid a handyman to put this together and he pointed out the missing and incorrect pieces. I looked and he was right. So glad I paid someone to do this for me and they easily drilled holes that needed to be there etc. th stairs thats goes to the top is already not flat against the bed as it should be so I have to look into securing that portion.
The bed arrived a month earlier than the estimated date!! The directions were easy to follow and all the parts came. We used a T handle hex key set to make assembling more efficient. Cheap sturdy stylish!!!

Super cute but slow to deliver and time-consuming and difficult to put together.

Difficult assembly
Difficult to put together because parts were not labeled and directions not clear. Bottom mattress area not sturdy, needed sides.
Love it! Its huge!
