We put this bunk bed together yesterday for our kids and they are loving it! Its sturdy and relatively easy to put together / some parts needed two people but for the most part my husband was able to complete it on his own in a few hours. However, there is a metal bar that runs beneath the top bunk for stability and it is totally unsafe. We bought a pool noodle and covered the bar and the problem was solved, but Im surprised no one else mentioned this serious design flaw / the metal bar is not smooth and round and could easily cause a cut (as it did!) on a child getting up in the middle of the night and is still a little disoriented and not watching his head. I cant give this bed 5 stars because that bar is just not safe, but for the price this was an easy solution to make the bed safe. Its ok but smaller than expected.
Took me and my boyfriend about 2.5 hours to put together (we were taking our time, and also skipped a page on accident at one point and had to redo some things lol) but it was relatively easy to put together. Feels sturdy and looks great. We did wish that the screws had been seperated and labeled, would have made for an easier assembly but that is only a small gripe. Works great!
When UPS first dropped the bed off, I asked if there was another box, as I couldnt believe that the tiny, but heavy, package could hold the entire bunk bed. Well, it does, and this is because youre assembling every little piece on this bed. Im used to most bed kits having the head, feet, and side boards already in sections, meaning the picket slats are already held by the top and bottom braces. This bunk bed, on the other hand, has you assembling every little detail of the bed. However, with all this said, it appears much more daunting than it actually is. I, alone, built the entire bunk bed with ladder and slide in about 3.5 hours. The trickiest part is what I mentioned before about the head/foot boards, where you need to get all interior slats to line up between the top and bottom braces. The only part that you really need two people for is connecting side rails to the assembled head and foot boards (I was able to do this by myself using a crib and dresser to wedge the headboard between while I worked on connecting a rail to the foot board).
Now that its all assembled, the bed is really strong and sturdy without any wobble. The slide is much steeper than I imagined, though, so will be placing some soft material at the base of it.
Anyways, my girls, who are three and five, absolutely love this bed. Well worth the purchase.
Bought this for my 3.5 and 2 year olds. They LOVE it. I like how it isnt so high. Easy to assemble most of it by myself but you def need help when putting the large pieces together. Instructions were easy to follow and everything was clearly labeled. I didnt screw in the ladder since I take it off as soon as the older one gets down to discourage them from playing and possibly jumping on the top bunk. So far Im very happy with the quality of the beds. You should buy.
Bought these for my 3 5 year olds. I also purchased the cloth that goes around the bottom bunk. They have so much fun playing on the slide. And in their house as they call it. Great quality. I put it together by myself (1 person) and it took about 2 full hours to finish. Definitely worth it. I purchased a lucid 6 inch mattress for the top bunk, and an 8 inch for the bottom bunk. They are perfect for what I was needing. The 6 inch is pretty firm, but I didnt want anything too thick. The 8 inch is a lot more cushioned and more comfortable in my opinion. But both are great for kids! I was worried about having to purchase extra slats for the top bunk because of the other reviews, but I did not have to. With the design and the mattress I got, there are no problems. yes we like it.

Sturdy bed. Took longer to assemble than I had expected. This works.
