Difficult to assemble, but manageable with careful adherence to instructions. Very sturdy. Bench is lower and smaller than I imagined but still works for a single row of boots and/or hats and gloves. Very attractive piece.
I had one of the hooks pull away from the backboard after the first coat was hung on it. The pressed wood it too thin to properly anchor the screws supplied. We use this in our entryway and it is a beautiful piece however the material is substandard.
Initially when putting this together and assembling it it appears to be a big project but once you get the first couple pieces together it assembles nicely.
This product is well made and is exactly what we were looking for. We had some questions for the company and they were extremely responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend this product and company.
Needed a hall tree for the small space I have in our kitchen and this was the only one I could find that would fit. I love the look of it and it works out great for our needs. The only drawback is the hooks arent meant to hold heavy backpacks. I can put them on the bench though and thats fine for me.
