This is a sturdy design at reasonable price. Its ladder size is built for kids, its a bit small for adults. It holds 300 lbs, so its safe for adults but just awkward.
The instructions are very good, and assembly is not bad considering how many pieces are involved. Some of the pieces required some hand strength to snap in place. For the most part, it can be done with one person however I did get a helper for setting up the frame ends. It did take several hours.
One issue I ran into was some of the screws required a slightly bigger wrench than the one supplied, the screw heads appeared a bit defective in manufacture and were difficult to tighten.
I compared to much more expensive beds on Wayfair, this bed really seemed like a great value. Works well.
I love that this bunk bed is compact, low to the ground so kids cant get much buried underneath. Easiest bunk bed Ive ever built and Ive built many. Would buy again. Also great transition lower bunk for toddlers. Assembled Quickly.
Make sure to read your instructions and follow it to a T. Only thing I would think about is it says to leave the bolts loose until its time to tighten it down we put the ladder on and then realized a couple bolts were on the side of the ladder so we had to take the ladder off to retighten everything. The its very low to the ground we got risers. But for some the low will work for them. Other than that it is very sturdy very nice looking and well/built. Always great!
Okay, so Im a 64 yo woman and I love puzzles and I love math and I have always put everything together, its always like a big puzzle to me. I had a friend that was going to come over to help. He isnt very handy with tools and I thought he might just get in my way, ha. So I put the beds together before he came over the next day. Now, it did take me about four hours maybe 4.5. If this isnt your bag, get someone to help you. If you like this sort of thing, you can dot it by yourself. Every time I walk by the extra bedroom with these in there, Im so proud of myself. Ha. These are super sturdy and look great! A great purchase. Very tight and not squeaky or anything. Do the work.
Does make a bit of noise when getting up and down. Was not to hard to assemble as long as you follow the directions. My boys love the bunk but definitely happy with our choice. Fair for the price.

Easy to assemble. Looks cute. It is perfect for kids. Very durable.
