I wanted one that was coiled and not just foam. This one is definitely more traditional than foam. Also, they sent me the wrong size!! Very inconvenient!! Does the job.
My old bed was so bad I was sleeping on the couch.
I had gone to numerous mattress stores trying to find something reasonable. As with the present economy spending a lot on anything is not on my wish list. While at one store I laid on a bed and said this isnt bad but just a little soft for me. He explained it was a bed in the box. When I looked the reviews up on that one they were similar to what I felt when I was on it.
So I continued to search. After reading the reviews I thought well its 1/4 of the price of the other ones I have seen and liked. Its incredible to me they can put this in a box. There is no way ever it will go back in one without a device to suck the air out and some work.
According to the manufacture you have to let it decompress for the full effect of about 3/7 days. However, you can sleep on it before hand and doing so will not effect the decompressing.
So night one I laid on it and it felt extremely springy and I was like oh no this isnt going to be good. Plus it was very soft. It sank when you got on it. Second night wasnt to bad but not great. It didnt sink as low as the first night. However, I slept through the night. I also found it to be a bit hard more firm than med /firm, by the third night.
I had a mattress topper from my old bed that is still in like new condition. I threw it on top and the next night it wasnt much better. Now Im on the fourth night with it and I have to say its comfortable. Im keeping my topper on it and if I take it off its to firm for me. Its firm more than medium. Plus it doesnt sink at all now. Nor do I feel the springs, nearly as much as the first night but I can still feel them.
Side note: The center is softer to sleep on than the sides. So that is a little odd to me. Its not consistent around the mattress and this is night 6. I have a king size bed and have normally always slept one side or the other but right now its strictly the middle.
Firm in todays standards is more like sleeping on a board. 20 years ago firm is more like a medium in todays time. Will the mattress last ten years? I dont know about that but for the moment it will work for me.
Now it is two weeks in to sleeping on this and I dont wake up in the night nor do I toss and turn all night but I wake each morning with the middle of my back slightly sore. Im not sure if this will be good for the long term but for the moment its working. Would I buy it again? yes
Would I recommend it? probably so. Size and weight do matter in mattress shopping. Would I buy it for my son? No because he has a 6k bed and would know the difference.
EDIT: Its now been several months since I bought this. Its completely decompressed, and I love it. Legit its so comfortable I actually want to go to bed. I have left my topper on it and its perfect for me. If you like a firmer mattress, you dont need the topper, but my topper makes it kind of like a pillow top. I sleep like a baby. I also live in FL on the beach and even in the worse of the storms we have gotten this season I slept through every one of them. My neighbors look at me like Im on crack when I told them I didnt wake. i think they are now concerned for me. Just saying. Id definitely buy this again. Better than expected.
I slept for a week, the fabric is very fine, it feels good to the touch, and the mattress is very supportive, and there is no sound when I turn over on it. Works great.
Ive been using a memory foam mattress before this, and given my current medical condition, I prefer a mattress thats firmer, not too thick, but moderately firm; The day after I received the mattress, it was very heavy to use when I took it apart, but it is easy to operate by two people. After taking apart the vacuum bag, it only takes a few minutes to fully expand, and there is no bad smell. Ive been using it for over 10 nights and it keeps my back comfortable. Thankfully I didnt make a mistake. Hope this review helps with your choice. Good,
This mattress is perfect and easy to set up. It is aming to sleep on we love it and have told all of our friends about it. Just as seen in the picture!!!
Color me impressed! With a family of five, be sure weve tried all kinds of mattresses over the years. Our teen son needed an updated bed. We went with a Twin Xl because the real concern wasnt width but length. Weve never tried a hybrid mattress of both springs and memory foam but the reviews were good. We have, however, tried bed in a box mattresses that arrive vacuum condensed. This arrived in a very compact box. We laid it across the new bed frame and cut open the plastic. It immediately filled with air and rolled out to size.
I laid on the bed and was immediately impressed. This has just the right mixture of firmness and softness (Im 59 and about 200 lbs). So far, my son likes it and sleeps great. The price point is GREAT / believe me, I know. I shopped for mattresses in 2020 and bought one for almost twice the price but lower quality.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! GOOD!!
This is a nice bed for the money. It is a little softer than I was wanting but it is for a guest room so I will not return it. It is definitely a medium firmness mattress. Satisfied.
I am an otr driver and my truck came with a mattress that was about 2 inches thick. I upgraded to this and it fits perfectly and is super comfortable. I am sleeping really good now! As expected, thank you!

No smell, no pungent smell at night

Give a nice sleep for people who has back pain, recommended.

Ok for my young person, would not be for an adult
