Does what and umbrella is supposed to do. Came with a tie strap not attached to umbrella. Bought a bungee cord to secure it when its closed. Crank and tilt work fine.
This umbrella fits perfectly in my small sized back yard. It goes through my patio table pole hole and stands still without a base. My patio table is a 30 in but the umbrella should have no problem with a 48 in table. It gives good shade. It can protect people from moderate rain for a while. I find it quite smooth when I open and close it.
